So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

A few years ago a friend of mine gave me her copy of “10 Minutes to Powerful Prayer” by Stormie Omartian. Anytime I’m at a loss of what to pray about or feel like my prayers have become monotonous and stale, I refer back to this book.
One of my favorites is “pray for the people in your life”. It helps me to begin thinking about all the people I know or am acquainted with who could benefit from prayers. It helps me to turn my thoughts outwards to the people that surround me vs being inwardly focused. I always end up feeling closer to God than if I spent my prayer time asking for personal needs.
