Thursday Thoughts : Seasons
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Reflect upon a time of trial in your life, a time where you felt like there was no way out. Maybe a job that didn’t suit you, or perhaps not able to find work, or maybe a friendship or relationship that took a wrong turn, an addiction you could not kick, maybe it was ongoing health struggles or even financial woes. I’m sure you are thinking of one right now.
How long ago was that? Did you find a way out? How did that season change you? We all go through seasons of life where none of the pieces seems to fall in line, everything seems out of whack and maybe at times we feel like we will never escape that feeling.
We read in Romans 18:18-30 “that in all things God works for the good of those who love him”.
I’ve had my fair share of “tough seasons”, but as I reflect back on them I’ve NEVER had one where God didn’t lead me through it and make me stronger and more equipped because of it. Have Hope and Faith in the God that Loves you, the God that sent his Son to die for you.
