Provers 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

The book of Proverbs holds much wisdom to lead godly lives. This verse sticks out to me today for two main reasons. First, I am part of a Pizza Ranch ownership team under the name of Iron Sharpens Iron. We changed our name to this last year to further put our faith in action and remind each one of us how we need to spur each other on and challenge ourselves. What we do is about more than just making (extremely cravable) pizza, chicken, and cactus bread. It is about glorifying God by positively impacting the world and doing that with others and encouraging each one of us to use our gifts. We need to focus on the eternal.

Secondly, I recently took action to meet with a mature believer on a regular cadence to study scripture and pray together. I knew my life needed this and have greatly enjoyed our first two meetings. For our first book, we are moving through Hebrews.
