You are likely familiar with the story of Noah and the flood - but do you know how old Noah was when he started building the ark and how long it took to build it? It is believed that Noah was around 500 years old when God called him to build the ark, but the first rain drop of the flood didn't come down until Noah was around 600 years, it took an estimated 100 years to build the ark.

How many times over those 100 years was Noah's faith tested, how many times did he re-consider what he was doing? Have to assume that during this time he was mocked, belittled and disrespected amongst his peers. Yet, Noah held strong. I'm sure there were nights, laying down with sore hands and a sore back that Noah questioned what he was doing, but he kept the faith and continued on with what the Lord had called him to do. If you are feeling tired, stressed out, hopeless, just remember that God has a plan for your too, and it may take more than a few days for that plan to come to fruition. You Need to Hold On.
