Tuesday Truths: Take a moment…
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now”. -Chinese proverb
The proverb above is one of my personal favorites. I quote it back to someone multiple times each year. Today, as I was reflecting on writing this, this proverb came to mind, and I realized that “plant a tree” could easily be replaced by “pray”.
I know sometimes I struggle with finding, or perhaps, MAKING time out of my day to pray. So, I’ve recently been working on finding unexpected moments throughout the day for prayer. Sitting in traffic, checking into a hotel, at the doctors office, in line at the grocery store, waiting for my morning coffee to brew. Once I really started looking I discovered there were a myriad of moments each day to pray, even if it was just a quick “thank you” to the Lord. I hope you can also find a moment today as well.
“They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40: 28,31
