Check out what’s happening at one of our Pizza Ranch partners, LifeWise Academy. LifeWise Academy is a division of Stand for Truth, led by Joel Penton. Their goal is to bring Bible education to public school students DURING school hours. This sounds impossible but is 100% legal through Released Time Religious Instruction, a federal law. Many of these students aren’t connected with a local church and through this program they have the opportunity to learn about Jesus through the stories found in the Bible. LifeWise Academy has a process that is easy to follow and has resulted in dozens of school districts offering LifeWise Academy classes for their students to participate in. I’m currently working with a team of community members through the launch process to bring a LifeWise Academy program to our local elementary school. LifeWise provides simple steps to follow and amazing resources. If you’d like to learn more on how to be involved, check out the videos below or search for your school district on their site.
