Wednesday Story of Impact - Wildwood Hills Ranch
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
This week I have shared some illustrations of my dog and how they remind me of how silly and foolish I can act at times in my faith. On the topic of sharing about animals, I thought I would highlight one of our ministry partners that works with animals and children.
“Our work isn’t done until all Midwestern children have the opportunity to grow into healthy adults—educated, free from poverty, safe from abuse and violence, and engaged as members of communities and nurturing families.” -Wildwood Hills Staff
Wildwood Hills Ranch of Iowa provides a place for children in abusive circumstances to come attend summer camp. Children come and spend time with the horses, swim in the lake, hike in the outdoors, learn with counselors, and have the Gospel story shared with them during their stay. Their mission is to transform lives and strengthen communities by providing healing, hope and God’s unconditional love to children and youth at risk.
Wildwood Hills so much more than a horse ranch. Their mission goes beyond caring for these beautiful creatures and creating a great summer camp for kiddos. Their vision is Kingdom focused.
