Great thing come in small packages and sometimes pizza boxes. Barb and Steve, owners of the Pocahontas, IA Pizza Ranch had a fun way of celebrating Christmas and New Year’s with their community, a rural Iowa town of 1,800 people. Barb is very engaged with the community knows everyone’s name and they all know her. So, what better way to share then to give what she makes best – pizza! Barb held a Christmas drawing for the community for free pizzas and gift cards. Then she and Steve placed an ad in the paper announcing the winners and thanking them for supporting their local Pizza Ranch in 2019. In return some of the winners sent her handwritten thank you notes and placed thank you ads in the paper! From one blessing comes another.
