Wednesday Stories

On Wednesday, September 12th the Orange City Pizza Ranch held a Community Impact Night for their Guest Services Manager, Teresa Van Voorst.  Teresa has been fighting Addison's Disease and Lupus for many years, but you wouldn't know it if you met her for the first time behind the counter at the Orange City Pizza Ranch.

"She is the one who knows you by name, knows your favorite food, likes to make your kids smile, and overall truly enjoys working for Pizza Ranch," said General Manager Schuyler Noteboom. "She really has a passion for providing service from the heart."

A few weeks back, Teresa's Addison's Disease actually caused her to have a heart attack and she needed to surgery to repair a valve on the top of her heart which was damaged in the attack.

The crew members at the Orange City Pizza Ranch put together a Community Impact Night for Teresa on Wednesday, September 12 and raised a little over $2,000, with donations still coming in!
