The Pizza Ranch Financial Services team stepped up and provided gifts for foster kids in the region around their office this month in an effort to make Christmas a little more special for 8 kids. The message they sent us was:

We bought gifts for 8 different kids that are located in NW Iowa that are in foster homes and won’t be with their families during Christmas. Hopefully, these gifts will help ease the burden of the foster families as well as giving the kids something from their Wishlist!

I know personally that this means so much to the kids, because often when they are removed from their homes, they have the clothes on their back or 5 minutes to pack a backpack. Often Foster Parents focus on getting the essentials to start with, but this program is great because the kids can actually ask for things that they want and may even remind them of home.

There will be a Christmas party held on December 8th for Foster Families in NW Iowa where these gifts will be given out as well as all the gifts to the kids.
