In January 2024, our Pizza Ranch location in Omaha, NE had an opportunity to be part of an amazing story and help make an impact in the community.

A boy named Ethan was diagnosed with cancer. When he was finally admitted to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, things did not look good. He had shared there were two things he wanted to happen: And going to Pizza Ranch was one of those wishes. Someone got in contact with manager Vaughn at the Omaha Pizza Ranch, and together they worked to help make this wish come true.

Ethan was surprised to find his favorite super hero (Iron Man) was at Pizza Ranch. There was not only a spotlight on Ethan, but the restaurant partnered with the community to raise funds for St. Jude's that night too. One of the ways they made it fun for Ethan and his family was to gift them FunZone arcade player cards so they could play the Marvel Super Heroes arcade game (and any other games) for a lonnnng time that night.

We are blessed to say that through the help at St. Jude's and the blessing from an almighty God, Ethan BEAT CANCER and is currently cancer free!

When asked about the whole event and situation, manager Vaughn said "It was easy to say yes to help. That's who we are and who I am. My mother unfortunately wasn't able to beat cancer and passed away at age 43 from it. So to see how this family supported Ethan, it was inspirational to me. How his family had his back...it was truly incredible."

He did share that Ethan would quote from the Bible book of Ephesians, chapter 3 verse 20, which says: "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,"
