Certainly not the summer or year they were planning on. Claire is part of our Pizza Ranch family, her mom works for the Pizza Ranch Support Center in Orange City, IA where their family lives.

As their website describes them, the members of Pink Heals are “a group of firefighters, alongside various members of the community and family members who selflessly donate their time to travel around Kansas, near - and sometimes far - in a pink fire truck that is on a new mission, after years of fighting fire. Her new mission is to spread Love and Hope and to Create Immediate Care in support of women with all forms of Cancer - not just Breast Cancer!”

Last week the Pizza Ranch chain gathered for our annual National Conference to spend quality time together, learn together, celebrate together, and most importantly, worship together. Each morning of our conference we start the day in praise and worship. One of our biggest prayers this year was that we would feel the Holy Spirit moving among us and filling each person, and I know this prayer was absolutely answered!

Given the staffing issues that so many are facing, Fort Pierre was also running low on team members – they had 3 people working during that time. They were doing their best but keeping a buffet full under those conditions was nearly impossible.
