Isaiah 35 – What was Destroyed, in God’s Time, will be Restored.

The book of Isaiah parallels the entire Bible. The first 39 chapters, like the 39 books of the Old Testament are filled with judgement upon immoral and idolatrous men. The final 27 chapters, like the 27 books of the New Testament declare a message of hope.

Everything is planned and in God’s time.

Isaiah prophesied about things coming soon (next 200 years), farther away – Jesus birth (700 years later) and things that are yet to come. Amazing how God works! The prophecies that God gave Isaiah have and will continue to come true. We can have hope and confidence in that.

Read Isaiah 35: 1-10 – Hope for Restoration

How do we use this chapter? See verse 3. “With this news strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees” (NLT) – We pray for and support people that need encouragement and trust God’s plan and timing.

What do we have to look forward to? Verses 5-10 - All will be made perfect when God returns and establishes his kingdom on Earth.
