The benefits of accepting Christ as our Savior are vast. It’s a free gift for all who want it. When we give our life to Christ, we receive much more than just eternal life. We are more than just sinners saved by grace. These things are wonderful, and I am excited about them, but there’s so much more to it.

Wouldn’t it be great if, instead of focusing on being a sinner saved by grace, we focused on:

  • Being filled with the Holy Spirit at conversion.
  • Having access to the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • That we’re adopted into the family of God with all the rights that come with it.
  • That we have relationship with God.
  • Being Sanctified, set apart and made Holy.
  • Being Justified, declared not guilty.
  • We’re made righteous, right in God’s eyes.
  • We are God’s masterpiece – Ephesians 2:10
  • We are perfectly and beautifully made - Psalm 139: 14
  • That God sings and rejoices over us – Zephaniah 3:17
  • We have great value and worth - Proverbs 31:10
  • We’re treasured and loved - Deuteronomy 14:2
  • That God knows us intimately, he Knows our name – John 10:3
  • God cares deeply for us - 1 Peter 5:7
  • God pursues us - Luke 19:10
  • God gives us favor – Psalm 5:12
  • God stands by us and strengthens us – 2 Timothy
  • God is always present with us – Psalm 46:1-2
  • We’re never separated from His love – Romans 8:38
  • We’re Holy and blameless – Colossians 1:22
  • We’re given peace that can be unexplainable – Philippians 4:7
  • We’re given purpose and meaning – Psalm 57:2
  • God helps us - Psalm 121:1
  • We’re given the mind of Christ - 1 Corinthians 2:16
  • We’re cleansed from all our sin – 1 John 1:9

We’re children of the King!

May we each take in and reflect on these few examples of Gods promises for His children.
