Monday Mission - Live Alive in Christ
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
On Friday Perry shared with us how God can bring dry bones to life. Today I want to start off our week thinking a little more about that idea. Are you alive? Or just living? Maybe you're thinking living and alive are the same thing. But I would argue that they're quite a bit different. Everyday we live, we have our routines and our plans many of which we really enjoy. These are good days and good activities. But then there are some days that you live at the next level, when we really feel alive. What does feeling alive feel like? I would imagine that depends on how God created you. Do you feel alive at a Praise and Worship event, surrounded by others singing with your arms lifted to heaven, or maybe alive is a hike in the mountains enjoying the beauty and peace around you. I find that it's in these feeling alive moments that I also feel closer to God. Take time to identify events or activities that make you feel alive and set aside time to do them.
Psalm 56:13 For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light.
