Monday Mission – Put Your Hope Where It Belongs
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
It’s a new week, a fresh start, a chance to begin again.
What does your week look like? What are you excited about? What are you anxious about? What’s the bright spot and what’s the valley you’re looking at? Whatever our week looks like, I’m reminded of the hope that’s new every day.
Lamentations 3:22-25 tells us that:
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him…”
If it’s looking like a great week, thank the Lord for His goodness and provision, for the week of blessing. If it’s looking like a challenging week, ask the Lord to give you hope in Him and His goodness, with a thankful heart that He has a plan for it all.
