As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we can all think about the many blessings all around us that we are thankful for. Food is a central theme of the Thanksgiving holiday, but not everyone has the means to prepare a “Food Network” worthy Thanksgiving meal.

This week, search for local Thanksgiving community meals that you can donate a turkey, side or pie to. Or maybe there’s an area food pantry that’s collecting items in preparation for the families who will receive their Thanksgiving meal items from there.

We have much to be thankful for – let’s help ensure our neighbors have a meal to be thankful for as well.
