We live so much of our lives looking at our watch, checking the clock on the wall following the routine and schedule that WE have laid out. WE have hopes and plans for each new day, but also hopes and plans for the long-term. WE stress about keeping that schedule and often get frustrated if those plans don't come together how WE wanted them or as soon as WE wanted them. Truth is our schedule and timing is not always God's schedule and timing for us.

You can however put hope in the fact that God knows what is best for us and when it is best for us. As we read in 2 Peter 3:8 "But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day". Simply put God works with a vastly different schedule than we do, one that doesn't need to abide by the bounds of hours, days, weeks, months and years - it all comes together in His perfect timing.

For this week, put together you schedule and routine as you would - those things in and of themselves are healthy and needed, but do not come to rely or trust solely in those plans; instead Trust in His Timing.
