Where do you go to find out what's true? Social media, news reports, pod casts, commentaries, webinars, friends, church, the Bible? With so many sources of information coming at us more quickly than we can digest sometimes it's hard to remember what's true. News flashes all around us with breaking alerts drawing our attention throughout the day. Just thinking about it makes my head spin. When I feel overwhelmed and conflicted I remind myself that only one source has ever proven completely reliable and unchanging. God's holy and inspired word, the Bible, is rock solid truth. Relevant centuries ago and still is today.

Here are just a few truths that I'm reminding myself of lately: God created you and loves you. God created everyone else and loves them too. God hates sin, but offers forgiveness through Jesus. No one except Jesus will ever live a perfect life. This world won't ever be perfect, but we should do our part to point others to God's truth. We're called to love God and love each other. Heaven is perfect. God is good. Amen!
