Seems like there is a week for everything in our culture, but I love that this week is “Random Acts of Kindness” week.

Over the past few years there has been debate over whether you can assess a person’s true character based on one simple action….whether or not a person returns the shopping carts to the designated area in the parking lot after shopping. The idea is that there is no law that requires you to return the shopping cart, but that you do it simply to help others.

I think there is a lot of merit in this idea. Let’s all be the kind of people that look out for others, and find a way to do a small, random act of kindness today!
