Tuesday Truths: God Created us to Love Others

God not only created us to love others, but then also sent his son, Jesus, to be the perfect example of how to love others. Loving others isn’t always easy, in fact sometimes it’s really hard. Jesus teaches us how to love in the challenging times through forgiveness, mercy, grace, turning the other cheek, patience, and sacrifice. Jesus didn’t just show us examples of loving the lovable. He loved unconditionally even to those that hated him. Believers and non-believers alike will at times hurt or disappoint those that love them. Rather than respond in anger try to respond in love.

1 John 2:10 (NLT) Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble.
