Tuesday Truth - God Created You Perfectly
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Ever feel confused about who you are or ask the question “who am I?” Ever felt like you weren’t living up to someone else’s expectations? People around us have a big influence on how we view ourselves. This influence can be positive or negative on our self-image. Often, we allow people to dictate how we see ourselves rather than looking to the only one that gets to define who we are. God is the only one that should define or label you. He’s the one who created you and he knows you perfectly. Listen to who God says you are and invest in friends that see you as God does. Let the other lies and perceptions fall away. Ignore those that say you’re not enough: not smart enough, not talented enough, not wealthy enough, not important enough, not fit enough, whatever it is that you’ve been led to believe. Soak in who God says you are, a Child of the King, created in the image of God. What you believe has the power to change who you are. Be the person that God created you to be, and no one else.
Genesis 1:27 “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
