“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed right now; I know I do. It’s easy for me to allow Satan to get a foot-hold in my heart and feel the waves of worry, anxiety and fear that Satan loves to spread among those who follow Jesus.

This verse fills my heart with hope though – hope that God sees me where I am, in the midst of my fear and attempts to not lose heart. God knows and has proven over and over again that He is good. I cling to the truth that God is good on good days and He’s good on bad days. God is sovereign over all and come what may, He WILL be glorified throughout the world.
