Tuesday Truths - Because He Cares for You
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
This chapter includes many beautiful things. It is part an encouragement to live for Christ even amongst short term sufferings as we have an eternal home. It is also about being a witness for Christ and how to lead and be a church. Verse 7 sticks out as sufferings, struggles, and dark moments do come in life. They can be internal, external, or both. But our all-powerful Father cares for us so much that he truly does not only want us to come with our anxieties but promises to be there with us. God will provide His peace. We do not always know in what way, but we know His promises are everlasting.
This also reminds me of another one of my favorite parts of scripture from the beginning of Hebrews 12. We are surrounded by other believers and witnesses and encouragers, so let us throw off everything that hinders us from running the race - this includes our anxieties and struggles. God will get you through. He may use someone else, but He may also use you to help someone else. Stay in prayer, stay in the Word - keep going to our loving God and cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you.
