Psalm 84:11 says, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." 

I think this verse is a great reminder that the Lord God provides and cares for us, being our sun and shield. He gives us favor and honor and blesses those who walk with Him. This also serves as a reminder to check my walk. Am I with God or on a path away from Him? Will you examine your own walk today?
