Wednesday Story of Impact - Community Impact
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Every week all across Pizza Ranch stores set aside one night as a 'Community Impact Night' to help raise funds for a local charity, sports club or church group. Typically 10% of the sales from that night and ALL the tips and donations go to that organization. This past week there was a very unique Community Impact Night held at the Orange City Pizza Ranch.
The Pizza Ranch Support Center, located just a mile away from the Orange City Restaurant is home to 80 + employees who work to support it's Pizza Ranch Franchisees with their financials, assist in marketing, food distribution, training, culinary, I.T. Support and construction. Two families from within the Support Center have been battling a form of cancer and some thoughtful individuals from within the office decided to organize an event that would help support those families. The Support Center took this a step further by also providing all the labor that night, giving the Orange City employees a night off and a chance to enjoy the event themselves. The Support Center is chock full of former Ranch Hands that, after shaking off a little rust, are more than capable to step back into the organized chaos of the restaurant again. There were even a few Support Center Team Members that combined have made one pizza prior to that night who blindly jumped in and were able to help as well.
The evening was a huge success and the Orange City store was able to generously financially bless these two impacted families as they continue to fight this disease.
