This week we’re focusing on how experiences shape our perspective.  Some experiences happen without any personal effort.  Life just happens and we experience something new.  Other experiences are intentional. This was true for my family as we went on a mission trip to Haiti last month.  We experienced many new things, and our perspective of life and of God grew.  Our intent was to impact the Haitian community we were in, which we did through meals, clothing and prayers.  However, God’s plan also included for our lives to be impacted by the Haitian people we met on the trip.  Are you feeling called into a new experience?  God can, and will, use our life experiences to impact his kingdom and bring us closer to him.
