The Beatitudes

The Beatitudes are a series of blessings that are found in the fifth chapter of Matthew in the Christian Bible. These blessings were given by Jesus to his disciples during the Sermon on the Mount. I’m going to share of my favorite ones.

Matthew 5:9-“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.”

In a chaotic world it’s easy to get stressed, angry, and scared. This passage talks about bringing Peace to those who don’t understand what’s going on around them. We are to be Peace makers.

My challenge is to find someone in your life that you can bring peace and calming to their situation and point them in the right direction.
