The disciples, like many of us, can argue and become consumed with who is the "greatest." There are several instances where this is addressed by Jesus. He tells us not to be like the others but that the greatest should be like and welcome the youngest and be like the one who serves. Beyond Jesus' words, we also can look to His life as the most wonderful example of a servant leader. He came down from heaven above to a live a life of serving, love, and perfection. The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Our mission is to live a life of humility and service by putting others ahead of ourselves.
