This week I’ve shared a little bit about my family’s experiences on a mission trip to Haiti. Today’s video was taken on that trip. We were helping with and English class, and one of the songs the class had learned was “God is so Good.”

This week we’re focusing on how experiences shape our perspective. Some experiences happen without any personal effort. Life just happens and we experience something new. Other experiences are intentional.

Proverbs 20:29 (NLT) "The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old."

Get out there and try something new this week! Here are some suggestions: Spend a few minutes getting to know a co-worker or neighbor Try a new activity

May the LORD answer you when you call. May the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from His Holy Place. May He lift you up from heaven.
