This week nearly 20,000 people will participate in the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI). Individuals from all over the United States will come to Iowa to get a taste of this summer tradition. It lasts 7 days and covers over 420 miles across back country roads of Iowa, attracting professional bike riders and weekend warriors alike. This well organized ride presents a great opportunity for family and friends to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, slow things down for a few days and enjoy some time riding through God's wonderful creation.
