Just like a physical workout plan needs to change from time-to-time to ensure your whole body is being challenged and staying in shape, it's important to review your Bible cross training. Here are some different "workout routines" that you can apply to your Bible knowledge and application and provide your spiritual life with some healthy cross training:
- Complete a Bible reading plan
- Read/Listen to a daily devotional
- Watch a Bible study video series
- Read a commentary on a book of the Bible, written by a reputable author
- Do a Biblical word study on Hebrew and/or Greek words
- Document your top 10 Bible verses, and then review them using a reputable Bible concordance
- Listen to a sermon-based podcast
- Join a small-group Bible study that reads Scripture and discusses modern day application
- Complete a reputable Bible study workbook
