If you are anything like me you are constantly comparing yourself against how you should be living, hearing the Spirit nudge you each time you fall off the beaten path. You work hard to "follow the rules" and live correctly, but time and time again you find yourself falling short. Always this battle in your mind of what you are doing and what you should be doing. Well, truth is you will ALWAYS have that feeling. We are a sinful people, living in a sinful world. Good news is that we still have Freedom through our Savior Jesus Christ! We read in Romans 8 that we are free from the law, not subject to it's stances. Instead, Jesus Christ has stepped in for us, knowing that we could never fully live up to the law. Doesn't mean we go on sinning, but we can take assurance that grace steps in to fill the gap between who we are and who God calls us to be.
