Last week, my daughters were asking me “How big is God?” That’s a tricky question to answer for anyone, but trying to explain the vastness of our God to two 4-year olds turned out to be almost entertaining.
They asked if God was bigger than our house?
Oh yes, He sure is!
Is God bigger than Orange City?
Is God bigger than Kansas City?
And guess what girls?
God is SO BIG that He is in our house, in Orange City AND in Kansas City all at the SAME TIME!
I got two VERY big sets of eyes in response.
Sometimes I need a reminder of just how big the God we serve, trust and love really is. I’m grateful that my girls’ continue to teach me things about God, just as I’m trying to teach them as well.
Psalm 8:3-4 – When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?
