As Christian we are called to live according to God’s ways and not the ways of the world. Living in obedience to God’s word will make you look different than non-believers in many ways. One way Jesus mentioned in John 13:35 is that others will know you are Christ’s disciples by your love for other people!

As Valentine’s Day creeps ever closer, take some time to celebrate the love you have for those around you. Valentine’s Day should be about so much more than just romantic love – but rather a celebration that we are called to love everyone made in God’s image! In fact the ways we selflessly love those around us should be representative of the selfless love God has for us. Christians should be recognized by their love.
