Everyone seems to love fall. I get it, fall means changing leaves, autumn décor, pumpkin spice latte’s, soft scarves and fuzzy sweaters.

However, I think spring is grossy underrated.

Spring is the time for renewal, when the dark days of winter leave us in exchange for warmer, brighter, longer days. The arrival of robins, the first buds of trees, the first flowers to spring forth and bloom.

I love watching the slow transformation of our world from dark, cold and dreary- to light, new life and warmth. Spring to me means HOPE.

I’m writing this post on the week in between the vernal equinox and Easter, which feels to me to be the absolute pinnacle of springtime, and I can’t think of a better time in the spiritual year that also signifies HOPE more than right now.

Lets all take some time this year to appreciate the beauty and hope of this special season. Happy Spring and Happy Easter to you all!

“Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.” -Virgil A. Kraft

“Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime.” -Martin Luther
