One of the newer items at Pizza Ranch is our Bake at Home Pizzas. We partner with a supplier who produces 5 of our pizzas as frozen products that our guests can purchase and enjoy a Pizza Ranch pizza right out of their freezer. While many of these pizzas are sold via fundraisers, the team at the St. Joseph Pizza Ranch decided to team up with their local Hy-Vee and sell them via retail while also sending $1 per pizza back to the local school system.

St. Joe’s AGM/Marketing Guru Brian went through negotiations with Hy-Vee and was able to help this product launch in early March. In the 2 months that these pizzas have been at Hy-Vee, there’s been over 120 pizzas sold. Brian also noted that this project has produced a great working relationship between Hy-Vee and Pizza Ranch, including a new partnership venture between the two organizations.

Not only is this a great way to spread the Pizza Ranch brand and mission into a new retail space, but it’s also a wonderful way to expand our Community Engagement. Pizza Ranch loves to partner with organizations in the communities our restaurants are in, and our franchisees and managers do a great job finding new ways to support their communities.
