Wednesday Story of Impact - The Ripple Effect
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
What happens when you throw a stone into a pond? Does it just plop straight down to the bottom of the floor? Not immediately. Instead, it leaves behind a ripple effect. That one moment, that one toss, that one stone into the water sends a ripple effect of water going in all direction from that one space.
In our lives, we are lucky enough to have ripple effects. In my work, I'm also lucky enough to see the ripple effect of our Foundations training program. Nearly once a month, we have a group of our managers (GMs, AGMs, DMs, KM, GSMs and any other M's) come to our office for 3.5 days of intense Pizza Ranch training. They learn the basics of running our restaurants and some amazing life lessons along the way.
At the end of the program, there's a graduation where they receive their diplomas and hear encouraging words specifically to them. It's incredibly inspiring and amazing to see their lives changed over the course of a few days. And the ripple effect is real. They go back to their stores, ready to change those around them. They are refreshed and ready to implement the new things they've learned and help bring up their team around them. Great job Managers on being open to learning and willing to impact those around you!
