Wednesday Stories of Impact
Volunteers Fold Boxes at Pizza Ranch

On Sunday, November 21, news of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Tragedy spread across the Nation. What is normally a time of community celebration turned into tragedy. A recent article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shares ways that the community has rallied together to help those in need as well as those that were working long hours after the tragic parade event. One of the businesses that stepped in to help was the local Waukesha Pizza Ranch. They did what they do best, and supplied food and beverages for lots of folks in a short amount of time. The police department needed 200 meals quickly and through a Facebook post from Pizza Ranch volunteers arrived at the restaurants within 30 minutes to help get it done. This turned into a another community feed that evening at the vigil. Volunteers stepping in and helped do anything they could. Jake Zappa, manager said, "The community came running to help." The volunteers took along bottles of water, their own napkins, disposable silverware, anything they thought might be needed to feed everyone.

If you're still interested in helping out the Waukesha Pizza Ranch will be hosting a Community Impact Day on 12/3/21, 50% of all sales will go to help the victims and their families. If you live in the area, come on in and support by eating some Legendary food for a great cause.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this event. And thanks to those that stepped up locally to support this community!
