Monday Mission - Stop Comparing

One of the challenges of being a Christian in the United States is that we all have so much. Maybe that seems like an odd challenge, but in a country of abundance it's easy to compare yourself to others.

Monday Mission - Pick a Fruit

It’s not technically spring yet, but tomorrow is March 1st and to me, that counts enough to start talking about planting crops. Living the Midwest and having farmers in my family and community, there’s plenty of talk a lot of planting in the spring and harvest in the fall. While I won’t claim to know a soybean seed from a corn seed, I can certainly tell the difference between the two plants once they start to grow and produce.

Monday Mission - God's Creation

Monday Mission - Living in Gratitude

One goal I set for myself going into 2022 was to live a life full of gratitude. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 instructs us to, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Journal open to a blank page

Monday Mission - Reflect and Record Journal

Many times I've attempted to start journaling and the beginning of the year seems like a logical time to start. Most years I would make it a few weeks and then get too far behind and give up. 93% of all New Years Resolutions fail, so I'm guessing some one else out there can relate.

Monday Mission - Prince of Peace

I pray you've enjoyed a blessed Christmas weekend with reflection of the baby who was born to save us from our sins. The reality for some people is that the holidays are not always enjoyed because of pain, loss, or memories that bring hurtful feelings to the surface.
