Wednesday - Stories of Impact - Claire Strong
Claire Yaw, high school senior, and daughter of Chris and Donette Yaw, received some unexpected news this summer when she was diagnosed with leukemia in the middle of June. Certainly not the summer or year they were planning on. Claire is part of our Pizza Ranch family, her mom works for the Pizza Ranch Support Center in Orange City, IA where their family lives.
Tuesday Truths - Jesus forgives you
Jesus forgives you for ________. Fill in the blank with whatever comes to your mind. Whether you have a troubled past or just a really bad moment. Jesus can take the guilt, shame, and burden from you.
Monday Mission - Forgive Others
One of the biggest blessings of being a Christian is forgiveness. Through Christ we can have our sins wiped away, offering us a clean slate to start again.
Friday Devotional - Jesus in the Book of Habakkuk
We’ve been working through the Old Testament looking for the New Testament Jesus hundreds, even thousands, of years before He was born. They’re all great stories on their own, but they absolutely paint a picture of who Jesus will be and what he’ll do for those who believe. Jesus claimed that the entire Old Testament pointed to Him (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39, 46; Romans 1:1-2; 1 Peter 1:10-12). Since the Book of Habakkuk is a part of the OT, let’s look to see how it points to Jesus.
Thursday Thoughts - My Father's World
"This is my Father's world, and to my listening ears, all nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres. This is…
Wednesday Story of Impact - Pizza Ranch Operations Makes an Impact

Tuesday Truths - Vulnerability
"Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change."
Monday Mission - Be OK with not being OK
It's easy to say when someone asks you, "how you doing?" to say, "I'm 'fine', or 'OK', or 'hanging in there'". It's OK to not be OK, and it's OK to let people know you're not OK.
Friday Devotional - Jesus in the Book of Nahum
We’ve been working through the Old Testament looking for the New Testament Jesus hundreds, even thousands, of years before He was born. They’re all great stories on their own, but they absolutely paint a picture of who Jesus will be and what he’ll do for those who believe. Jesus claimed that the entire Old Testament pointed to Him (Luke 24:27, 44; John 5:39, 46; Romans 1:1-2; 1 Peter 1:10-12). Since the Book of Nahum is a part of the OT, let’s take a look to see how it points to Jesus.
Thursday Thought – Seasons of Life
Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Usually when this verse comes to mind, it’s connected to something hard or difficult – a death, someone undergoing chemo, or in a season of waiting. As a teenager, my mom would tell me “Kate, just enjoy right now.” I wasn’t angsty but could always identify something that I was waiting on or wanted to by-pass quickly.
Wednesday Story of Impact – Pink Heals in Wichita, KS
A Kansas-based organization called Pink Heals recently had an impactful Community Impact Night at the Wichita, KS Pizza Ranch. As their website describes them, the members of Pink Heals are “a group of firefighters, alongside various members of the community and family members who selflessly donate their time to travel around Kansas, near - and sometimes far - in a pink fire truck that is on a new mission, after years of fighting fire. Her new mission is to spread Love and Hope and to Create Immediate Care in support of women with all forms of Cancer - not just Breast Cancer!”
Tuesday Truth – Jesus Will Never Reject You
John 6:37 – “However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.” I’m currently reading a book called “Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers” by Dane Ortlund. The chapter I read over the weekend was based on this verse. The author spends the whole chapter talking about the truth that no matter what we have done, no matter how great the sin, disappointment, betrayal, lie, hurt, or anything else – no matter it, once we humbly come to Jesus and accept him as Savior of our lives, he will NEVER reject us or cast us out of His presence.
