In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.”

It says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. We never want to be hypocritical. Whether we like it or not, It can be easy to be hypocritical in our faith without even knowing it. We can talk the talk about how we go to church, how our kids are part of the youth group at church, how we believe in Jesus, etc. However, if we aren’t showing love to those around us and truly striving to grow closer to God, then the things we say are pretty meaningless.

Most of us have probably heard that the scripture, although written by around forty different people, is totally God-breathed and inspired. It’s important to trust and know that this is true. Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Have you ever had a conversation with someone that seems distracted? You may be talking to them but their eyes are either somewhere else or perhaps on their phone? You may be thirty seconds into a story or a question you have for them, only for them to respond with, “Sorry can you say that again?” How does this make you feel when this happens?
