This week many of us will celebrate Independence Day in America with picnics, trips to the lake, time with friends and family, and maybe even some fireworks. But I want to challenge you to not only think about our civil freedoms, but our spiritual ones.

​One of my favorite songs is ​Amazing Grace​. My favorite verse is the third verse. ​The Lord has promised good to me,

Proverbs 20:29 (NLT) "The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old."

GOD IS....

Celebrate today with this encouraging message!

Proverbs 31:25​ is a beautiful verse that reminds me that strength and dignity are choices that I make. Being clothed in strength is not something that comes from inside me, but something I choose to receive from God.

​Jeremiah 32:41 "I will find joy in doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land."

​Psalm 84:11​ says, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless."
