Tuesday Truth - The Love of God

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries for tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Tuesday Truths - Isaiah 55:11

Tuesday Truth – Hope in the Exile

Jeremiah 29:11 – ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ This weekend I was reminded of this common verse in the book of Jeremiah. It’s a great verse of encouragement to many people. What some people may not know, however, is the context in which God gave this verse to Jeremiah and the Israelites.
