Romans 12:9-13: 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Over the past couple of weeks, the Support Center in Orange City has been collecting donations for the food pantry at American Reformed Church.

Matthew 25:40 says “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

It can be so easy in our daily lives to get lost in the busyness and forget to look at what is going on around us.

Sometimes we are afraid to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We don’t want to be judged by others, we don’t want to be told “no”, we are afraid it won’t have any positive impact.

Reflecting on this past week, what do all our conversations have in common with one another?

At Wildwood Hills Ranch, the mission is to transform lives and strengthen communities by providing healing, hope and God’s unconditional love to children and youth at risk.

A troubled kid. An elderly veteran. What might these two individuals have in common? They are two kinds of people often overlooked by society and thrown to the wayside. We know our lord doesn’t do this.

If we don’t have the courage to speak our prayers out, how will we know how to give God glory? That’s something that’s been on my mind.

In 1942 there was a book written by C. S. Lewis called, “The Screwtape Letters.” It’s a book that takes the form of letters from a Sr. demon named Screwtape, to his nephew and Jr. tempter, named Wormwood.

Isn’t it interesting how Jesus is described as both the Good Shepherd and the Lamb of God?
