Thursday Thoughts - History of St. Patrick's Day
Content provided by guest writer, Jenna Finkenhoefer. As we celebrate St. Patrick’s day this week, I took a minute to do some research on who St. Patrick was (courtesy of Wikipedia).

Tuesday Truth - There is Hope
Content provided by guest writer, Jenna Finkenhoefer. A few years ago, I was walking through the garden area in early spring, and saw in a sheltered area crocuses that were starting to emerge and bloom. I commented to the person who was gardening that I was so happy to see any signs of spring. His reply was “It’s God’s way of letting us know there is hope.”
Monday Mission - Remember There is a Reason for Every Season
Content provided by guest writer, Jenna Finkenhoefer. I’ll be the first to admit it. This time of year between winter and spring is difficult for me. Living in the Midwest, I’m guessing that I’m not alone in this sentiment. In mid-February I begin counting the days until time changes. Each day as the snow starts to melt and I see earth in my garden and flower beds...
Friday Devotional - Jesus is Sufficient and Greater than All
The book of Hebrews begins by establishing who Jesus is. He is sufficient and greater than all. It is this truth that we are grounded on. Everything is about Jesus and everything points to Him.
Thursday Thought – Remind Yourself of God
Sometimes I forget to think about God. I don’t mean it in a bad way – not like I’m walking away from Jesus or my faith. But rather that I get busy with life.
Wednesday Story of Impact – Prayer Requests
I’ve always felt like the Pizza Ranch Support Center is a special place to work for a lot of reasons. I get along with pretty everyone here, have a great team I get to work with every day and (because #honesty) there’s usually some sort of pizza or other snacks in the breakroom.
Tuesday Truth – Be Strong and Courageous
One of my favorite themes of the Bible is how God promises to be with us. In the book Joshua, Joshua was appointed as the new leader of the Israelites after Moses died and God was calling him to some epic battles.
Monday Mission – Read a Favorite Verse
You know how your favorite song makes you feel? Warm inside, probably “known” or “seen” in some way? What about your favorite food? A comforting feeling probably comes over you.
Friday Devotional – Unfailing Love
We’ve been slowly walking through the Book of Psalms, and this week we’re looking at (Psalm 36). The Psalms do such a great job of talking about the topics and emotions we most often deal with in life. There’s so much in this chapter, like always. There are
Thursday Thought - Manure Happens
“Manure Happens” is an interesting/funny take on an old phrase. I heard this on a podcast interview Tim Timmons gave about going through tough times in life. While manure may initially seem bad and something we want to avoid, it also has many beneficial purposes. The benefits of manure are: a good source of macronutrients, improves soil fertility, improves physical properties and aerates the soil. Crops that are grown on land treated with manure produce healthier crops.
