Friday Devotional- God Watches Over Us

We’ve been slowly walking through the Book of Psalms, and this week we’re looking at Psalm 33. The Psalms do such a great job of talking about the topics and emotions we most often deal with in life. This is wisdom we can soak in, use, and grab hold of daily. It’s been the most relatable book of the Bible to me over the years of my life.

Does this image look like what you've been facing lately? For many of us in the Midwest we've literally been facing lots of snow covered roads this winter. Straining our eyes to find the road or looking for a car ahead to show us the way. Wishing our tires were gripping a little tighter to the pavement but prevented by the barrier of ice and snow.

We’ve spent the last few days talking about getting the New Year off to a positive start and a few ways to do that. I believe in counting your blessings, intentionally practicing gratitude and looking for the unexpected ways that God moves in our midst.
