You are what you eat
This week many of us will celebrate Independence Day in America with picnics, trips to the lake, time with friends and family, and maybe even some fireworks. But I want to challenge you to not only think about our civil freedoms, but our spiritual ones.
One of my favorite songs is Amazing Grace. My favorite verse is the third verse. The Lord has promised good to me,
Proverbs 20:29 (NLT) "The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old."
Celebrate today with this encouraging message!
Proverbs 31:25 is a beautiful verse that reminds me that strength and dignity are choices that I make. Being clothed in strength is not something that comes from inside me, but something I choose to receive from God.
Jeremiah 32:41 "I will find joy in doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land."
Psalm 84:11 says, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless."
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
