Monday Mission – Pray for Missionaries

This week Pizza Ranch has a team of 29 people in Jamaica, working alongside a group of local people there on several different projects. For almost a decade now, we have partnered with this same group of people, building relationships with many locals, loving on them and their families, and helping with construction and other community enhancement projects.

What are you facing today? This week? This year? God knows the path you're on and wants you to hold on to him. Whether your trials are a challenge for today or a crisis lasting several weeks or years, hold on to the one that created you and loves you.

Do you ever feel like God changes His mind about the track for your life? Like you feel you have Him figured out and can anticipate the work and path that the Lord has you on, but then you start to question His nudges?

Monday Mission - What is the center or your life?

Is Jesus the center of your life? I’m sure we’d all say yes or want to say yes, but the fact is for most of us, most of the time, the center point of our life is ourselves. Typically, this is a comfortable, stable place to be. The downside is that you don’t grow or change in this place.

Monday Mission--Think About What You Think About

Your thoughts have power. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "You are what you think all day long!" So when you think about what you think about, what comes to mind? When you ask yourself this question, how are you centering your thoughts. If you are anything like me, at times it's a huge challenge to find framework in the many thoughts that circulate inside my head. The apostle Paul also helps put thoughts in to perspective in Philippians 4:8 (NIV), "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."
