God gives us signs telling us which way to go. So often we want the directions to be something as clear as a large neon sign that grabs our attention and spells out exactly what we should do. I've never yet had God show up in a physical written sign. But I have felt strong convictions that left me with a very clear directive on what he desired.

What says summer more than an afternoon at the pool? Summer break for my kids and many others is more than 1/2 over already. Have you been to the pool yet? Or if the pool isn't your families favorite past-time, have you made time to enjoy some time with your family during this summer break?

God orchestrates his will through our normal day activities without us even being aware that he’s working on something.

Sometimes it amazes me that God loves us enough to let us humans choose our own path.

We all have off days sometimes when things don’t go as planned, or something major or minor throws us off. Some seasons of life can be tricky – transitioning to a new job, a death in the family or the adjustment to a new baby in the house.

In keeping with the theme of the 4th of July this week, let’s spend a minute talking about the freedom we find in Jesus.

Happy 4th of July! Today our country turns 246 years old.

Encouragement in our lives, and the lives of others, can be life changing. In a world that can be difficult to navigate at times, hopefully this will inspire all of us.
